On March 3, 1998, to welcome in new owners Howard Milstein and Steven Gluckstern, the Islanders wore the uniform they wore when they won their four straight Stanley Cups in the early 1980's. The uniform would last -- it would become their permanent home uniform the following season. However, Milstein and Gluckstern didn't -- they sold the franchise to Charles Wang and Sanjay Kumar two years later.
