Due to the fire at Westmount Arena that led to the disbanding of the Wanderers, the Canadiens had to borrow the jerseys belonging to the City League's Hochelaga team for their January 5, 1918, game against the Senators. The jerseys must have brought the Canadiens luck -- they won the game, 6-5.
